I believe everyone is on a journey either to better health or to worse health and I believe that your journey all depends on what food you put into your mouth.
Together, we will identify what health journey you are on. Together we will look at your daily choices, where they have lead you so far and where you want them to lead you in the future. We will look at your primary foods (spirituality, relationships, activity and finances) to determine if they are supporting health, where they can improve and how they are affecting your secondary (physical) food choices.
We will look at energy balance to help support your daily activities and look at food quality to help support gut health, a strong immune system, hormones, preserve muscle mass, improve sleep and much more.
I believe in bio-individuality. I do not take a "one size fits all" approach, I actually believe the opposite! There is NO diet that works well for everyone! Keto works great for some but can ruin hormones for another. Paleo works wonders for those with autoimmune issues, but can lead to fatigue in cross-fitters. The Whole 30 is great to get your nutrition on track but isn't best for those who want to compete in a strength competition. The list goes on and on and on...
Wholly Better is not a fad diet program, it is not a "drink this tea" or "take this pill" program, it is not a "eat this or don't eat that", or a "good food vs bad food" program nor a "get healthy quick" program. Wholly Better will not tell you what diet to choose, what foods to eat or what you can and cannot do. You are an adult, you can choose whatever journey you'd like to be on...honestly. It's your choice!
I will be here to educate you, aid you in finding activities you enjoy, making healthy food choices, choosing positive thoughts, having meaningful relationships, finding a spiritual practice, and whatever else you decide to do.
